Description

Eva’s world collapsed when Leo announced he was divorcing her. She believed an imperfect marriage was better than none since Leo protected her and their daughter. Then she quickly came to love Jesse, Leo’s new husband, and realizes their “pack” is better, for all of them.

Nate Crawford practices acupuncture and enjoys helping people in his clinic and at Venture, the BDSM club. Family is all to him, because he raised his little sister as a single parent. He thought Leo, Jesse, and Eva were a triad, until matchmaking Tilly gets involved. Their only barrier to long-term love is whatever dark secret Eva keeps deeply buried.

When a confrontation finally forces the truth out, Nate and Eva are able to move forward, with Leo and Jesse’s blessings. But the worst day of Nate’s life pales in comparison when an unexpected crisis forces him to rely on the strength of their pack to carry him through a nightmare he can’t escape.

Thanks for reminding me. I have to go download my preorder. If there is one thing I find lacking with Siren is there seeming inability to automatically send my preorder to me when it becomes available or even send me a reminder. I shouldn’t have to rely on authors to remind me or have to create a spreadsheet (which I have resorted to in the past).

OTOH, Happy Release Day. Did you know they have created a National Holiday to celebrate all your hard work? Lol. Personally my plans for today are to eat Carnitas, drink Peach Bellinis by the pitcher, and read The Strength of the Pack.

@Julaine – Thanks! 🙂 Not sure why it won’t send to you automatically. Is your Kindle email address accurate in the BookStrand account settings where it sends it to? (And thanks for the well wishes! LOL) 🙂 I’ll have to look up a Peach Bellini. Never heard of that. 🙂

Yeah, my address is correct. It just requires me to go into my Siren bookshelf and select the Kindle option manually. It doesn’t automatically trigger the way it does when you preorder a book from Amazon. That amazing feeling you get when something you may have ordered months previously just magically appears on your digital device goes a long way to explain why Amazon is such a powerhouse. Siren’s process is not difficult, I’m just lazy and forgetful.

    Peach Bellini (julaine’s recipe)

1 bottle of champagne or sparkling wine
8 oz 99 Brand Peach Schnapps (watch this and adapt to your taste cause it’s 100 proof)
1 24 oz carton of peach nectar

Pour into a glass pitcher and sip slowly while enjoying the antics of family and friends or during a long indulgent day reading.

@Julaine – I heard recently Amazon changed some stuff internally. It might have had something to do with that. The gist of what I heard was Amazon was trying to make it harder for third-party sellers to send directly to the device. And thanks for the recipe! 🙂

. They already have the vast majority of the digital market, why try to squeeze niche market content makers? There is so much available it is sometimes hard to find something that is geared to my specific tastes in the vast sea of product available.

Great book…I already finished it. Laurel reminds me so much of my daughter at that age (she’s new 30).

I love your character development and always look forward to each new book in the series.

Thank you for my mental escape from reality.
