The correct file IS up at Kindle. If you’ve purchased Farborn from Kindle on or after the release date, you should have a file with 28 numbered chapters (not 25). I’ve had some readers tell me they deleted the wrong file and got the right file, and some say they haven’t. I don’t know what the magic sauce is. One reader said she waited about an hour before trying to redownload and the right file was there.
If you’ve tried deleting and still get the wrong file, try this: Delete the file from your device, then go to your Amazon account in a web browser, go to Account and Lists –> Your Content and Devices, and find Farborn. Then click on the Actions button to the left of it (the one with the three dots) and use the Deliver to option to resend it.
If that doesn’t work, email me at tymberdalton AT gmail.com and send me a screenshot of your table of contents from Farborn and I’ll email you the file. (If you whitelist my email address in your Kindle account first, then send me your Kindle address, I’ll send it straight to your Kindle for you, but you have to whitelist my address first for it to accept it.)
Again, I REALLY appreciate everyone’s patience with this, and I’m so sorry I screwed up. This will not affect anyone who pre-ordered it through B&N, Kobo, Apple, etc. and won’t affect Google/Smashwords.
