UPDATE: Yes, the correct file version was uploaded to Kindle and is now up there.
So, Hubby’s been out of town and visiting family since last week, I’ve been juggling several things and under a lot of stress, and I’m in a fibro flare.
That all means I done fucked up. Again. *head-desk*
(No, I didn’t stab myself again, although I nearly concussed myself.)
I uploaded the wrong file version for Farborn to Kindle. (This ONLY impacts Kindle pre-orders, not the other outlets.) But the file LOCKS on Kindle three days before it goes on sale, and by the time I realized what I stupidly did, it was too late to upload the correct version.
I’m sitting there and waiting for it to unlock so I can get the correct version uploaded. My worry is that markets such as Australia and Japan and Europe will get the wrong file version, because it releases there before it unlocks on my end.
So…PLEASE, check the table of contents when you get the file. If your file has 28 chapters (the actual numbered chapters), you’re good, and you have the correct version. If you don’t have 28 chapters, you have the wrong file version. Delete it and try re-downloading the file again and see if it gives you the correct version.
If it doesn’t, and you don’t want to wait a day or two (I don’t blame you for not wanting to wait) snap a screenshot of the TOC, e-mail me at tymberdalton AT gmail.com, and send me the screenshot, and I’ll send you the correct file. (Note I will hopefully be sleeping at some point in the next 24 hours, so I might not respond right away.)
Note: This should NOT impact people who buy it after it’s released in the US. They SHOULD (hopefully) get the correct file version.
I’m REALLY sorry about this. Totally my fault, and mine alone. I’m going to not do Amazon pre-orders on books for a while. Obviously, I can’t multi-task as well as I think I can when I’m under too much stress.

FWIW, I preordered, thought the story ended very abruptly, so went to your website, tried to redownload, no changes, and thru chat help was able to delete and redownload correctly. Bit cumbersome but it worked and I will now complete the book. Appreciate the “oops” posting,
