I know, I know. Where’s Incisive?
I’m back to work on it. With Pet now released, that was the last of my outstanding Amazon pre-orders to knock out. WHEW. The past couple of weeks have been hectic as hell around here. The Viking spent 10 days in the hospital (not Covid but hella scary) including several days in ICU, and is finally back home and on the mend. Once he was discharged, I spent several days with him, helping him out until we were confident he could do everything he needed to do on his own, because he still has some ongoing issues that must be managed for a while with home IV meds. We’re beyond thankful for his medical team, and now we know symptoms to watch for in case his condition returns or worsens. Even though it was a massive scare, I consider it a blessing that he’s on the mend and that the situation evolved the way it did instead of how it could have all gone horribly wrong with a different outcome.
Of course, massive stress+a cold front=Tymber’s in a fibro flare! *head/desk*
I spent yesterday and today formatting several of my Lesli books into print, including Pet, Yes, Governor, How Many Times Do I Have to Say I’m Sorry?, and others that were overdue getting put into print. I’ll post about that once they all go live.
And, as you can see from the picture above, Incisive is once again at the top of the list to finish and release.
Amazon really needs to change their fucking pre-order system. It’s ridiculous that pretty much EVERY other distributor and direct-vendor will let you change pre-orders as many times as needed, INCLUDING setting them far in advance, but Amazon will not unless there’s a literal pandemic and you figure out what special black magick sacrifice you need to make to get them to honor what they said about deadline extensions.
Make sure you’re subscribed to my newsletter so you’re notified when Incisive is available for purchase. (Believe me, I’ll be blasting that news ALLLLL over the place!)
I’m also in the process of rewriting Cross Country Chaos, an old release of mine I got the rights back for. It was a third-person book and I’m rewriting it to first-person, plus updating it somewhat. (It’s over 11 years old.) Look for that in January, because I want to crunch Incisive first and get it out to y’all.
Hope everyone’s staying safe and healthy. After the past couple of weeks, I can honestly say I do not want to go near a hospital again any time soon.
Blessed Yule!
So happy to hear that The. I king is on the mend! Happy ChrismakwanzaaYuleAKah!
Omg, I can’t believe that autocorrect messed up “The Viking.” It should have been “…happy to hear that The Viking is on the mend”!
