Stubborn characters reminds of the old Carol Burnett I saw the other night. Harvey is at the typewriter working on his story and Carol and Tim play the characters. It was fun to watch them react to what he was typing and then to see them undo things as he changed the story. In the end he gives up and crumples the paper to the ground. They both crumple as well but the last shot is that they still reach out and hold hands. Kind of sweet to see others show characters as having a realness to them.
