Still feeling under the weather with this damn fibro flare and the freaky cold weather here in the Sunshine State, but at least I can eat again. UGH. (Chronic-pain-induced nausea, no bueno.)
But this made me smile today. Yes, I’m a native Floridian, and I’d rather deal with THIS than what y’all are dealing with up north. In a heartbeat.
Heh.
[smile] Tymber, I am thankful that here where I live we do not have the alligators and neither do we have the temperature extremes in the northern US states. My one experience of a snow storm was during our holiday to the USA last May and June, saw us caught in a white out between Durango and Ouray , Colorado over Red Mountain Pass on a motorbike! It was terrifying. Some think we have lots of poisonous snakes and spiders here but as we rarely see them here in the ‘burbs I can live with that ! π Sorry to hear of your fibro flare. I haven’t had a good couple of days either with sudden temp change from a dry, hot, oxygen sucking 44C (approx 115F) down to Tropical storm remnant rain – enough to cause floods down to 20C (65F) has me not so comfortable either and as it is so difficult to know when a really bad day is coming we also had 3 of our grandchildren today as their Mum has had to have abdominal surgery and cannot lift anything for a couple of weeks. They have now gone home and at 8pm I was ready for bed but not to sleep as I cannot take more pain medicine for 4 hours – So I empathise!
@Vanessa – I know I hear about some of the critters y’all have in your country and it makes me nearly wet myself. LOL Good to hear they’re not as widespread as I thought. And hope you’re feeling better soon! ((HUGS))
