I was tagged by the talented Trinity Blacio, and I thought it would be fun to participate, so here goes.

1) What am I working on?

Right now, edits for Triple Cross (Triple Trouble 8) and edits for Geek Chic (Bleacke Shifters 2). Not sure what the next WIP will be yet, if it’ll be book 3 in the Coffeeshop Coven series or book 8 in the Triple Trouble series.

2) How does my work differ from others of its genre?

I’ve been told that, in general, my characters are extremely realistic, and that my plots tend to reflect a character-driven energy, versus a plot-driven one. As far as my BDSM books go, since I actually live the lifestyle, I bring to those an authenticity that some writers don’t have. I know what is realistic and what isn’t, and I keep my contemporary BDSM books as real as I can.

3) Why do I write what I do?

Because the voices in my head tell me to. *weg* No, seriously, the stories speak up in my imagination. If I didn’t write them, I’d probably go nuts.

4) How does your writing process work?

It’s difficult to say. I’m a pantster, as opposed to a plotter. Sometimes it’s just a snippet of dialog, or sometimes it’s the whole story laid out in front of me. But something will catch my attention and I’m off to the races.

Next Monday (3/10) the incredible Tara Rose will be posting about her writing process. Make sure to stop by her site and check her out! 🙂
