I am the first to admit I’m NOT perfect. When the pre-order for “Monkey’s Uncle” went live yesterday, I was literally just out of the shower and trying to get ready to leave for skeet. So I didn’t even NOTICE the blurb posted was for “Monkey Wrench,” not “Monkey’s Uncle.”
Until THIS MORNING. *head/desk*
Then a nice reader hit me on Twitter that I had a typo in that, and had called them the “Dunk Monkeys” instead of the “Drunk Monkeys.” Apparently I’d missed that typo when I sent my cover form in to my publisher.
*head/deskX2*
I had to go around correcting everything I could remember I had posted, including posts and pages here, Goodreads, Manic Readers, etc. I think I got them all.
Kudos to Siren-BookStrand for getting everything straightened out uber-fast. I mean like within minutes of me e-mailing them with the heads-up. I LOVE my publisher!
So excuse me while I go pop a Xanax and then dive into my edits. LOL
See? The glamorous life of a writer. LOL
smile! each of us is human – I didn’t even notice – don’t know what that says about me! LOL!
