Yay, it’s release day! Normally I’m Snoopy dancing at this point but had a late night yesterday. Unexpectedly spent the evening in the ER at the VA hospital because my dad was transported there by ambulance for classic heart attack symptoms. As of this morning, the blood work and other tests showed nope, not a heart attack, but now the “fun” begins trying to figure it out. *head/desk* Yes, I’m grateful it wasn’t that. So needless to say, there’s lots of coffee AND Xanax in my future today. LOL
(UPDATE: He’s got to spend tonight in the hospital, but it looks like it might have been an acute gall bladder attack. WHEW! Thanks for all the messages and thoughts being sent!)
To support my coffee-Xanax expenditures today, you can buy my books… LOL
Hey, you gotta laugh when you can, right?
Grease Monkey (Drunk Monkeys 4, mfm, post-apocalyptic, military/spec ops) available from Siren-BookStrand. (It takes about 4-6 weeks before it’s available on third-party sites. If you have a Kindle device, you can enter that into your BookStrand account and they’ll send it right to your device. If you have other kinds of devices, you can get the appropriate formats for those, too, and not have to wait.
Riots? Plague? Armageddon? Child’s play for…the Drunk Monkeys.
Dolce Quinn is a former sniper and military mechanic trying to find and rescue her friends now that Los Angeles is coming apart at the seams. She teams up with a neighbor and formulates a plan to avoid the riots and Kite virus, but they still have to escape the city safely.
The Drunk Monkeys have a line on another doctor from The List. When Roscoe and Niner try to rescue the doctor, their plan almost goes to hell in the face of an oncoming mob until Dolce steps in and saves their bacon.
Banding together, the group takes in Dolce and her neighbor. When a devastating earthquake levels the region, they must evacuate. Just one little problem—they still have a military mole to take care of. And when you mix a grease monkey with a couple of Drunk Monkeys, there’s a whole lot of shakin’ going on.
