What started yesterday afternoon as a routine eye exam in the mall to get Hubby new glasses ended up with him in an ambulance to the ER and spending the night in the hospital. :/ After a battery of tests, they think he just fainted, and he’s finally home today. But as a result, I’m exhausted with little sleep last night, and so is he, so I’ll be pulling the winner for the contest tomorrow (Friday, March 7) instead of today. Thank you for understanding!

Pull those names whenever. It is far more important that your husband is at home and by the looks of it not facing major health issues. Both of you should now take it easy, catch up on the sleep and give yourself time to get over the shock of it all. I’m sure all of us who entered will still be waiting to see who wins when you have your life back to normal. From one person dealing with a chronic disease to another: just take care of yourself.

Tymber, so glad that Hubby is home and resting…. and yes you should be too! Whenever something like that happens it is such a shock to the body… to the person suddenly unwell as well as those who love them. The adrenaline spike can leave you feeling quite exhausted so it is a good time to cuddle up and be thankful that it was not serious and you can still cuddle up. And to quote a favourite of mine “those who matter will not mind and those who mind don’t matter”. You take care of yourself and those you love first. hugs (I can say it because I did not enter, don’t like to be too greedy having been a blessed recipient of an envelope of goodies in the past – smile)
