(I know this doesn’t apply to all guys.) Guys, you think it’s innocent, a hello, a cute comment.

Watch this and think if it was your daughter, or your sister, or your mother, or your girlfriend or wife going through this.

Think it’s so cute now? No. I would hope not. (If you still think it’s cute, do us all a favor and get yourself a vasectomy NOW.)

This is the kind of shit we women have to put up with ALL THE FUCKING TIME. So no, your “innocent” comment isn’t cute, it isn’t funny, and it DOES NOT FUCKING ENTITLE YOU TO BE PISSED OFF BECAUSE A WOMAN IGNORES YOU. Asshole. You want a woman to notice you? Then when you see another guy pulling this shit, tell him to knock it the fuck off.

Marie, yes here in Australia too, sadly. Tymber thanks for the comments and the link. Hate this stuff and glad some are starting to provide the evidence to the men who need to learn this stuff is NOT okay. We have talked about this in our circle of family and friends and how to combat the warped perspective of some males that they are “being nice and friendly”. It is in the eye of the beholder folks – if the person thinks it is harassment, stalking because they became fearful, overwhelmed and the attention is unwelcome- then it is what she determines it is. How to combat? IMHO one of many strategies is men telling other men “it is not acceptable – how WOULD you feel if that woman was YOUR mother, wife, daughter, niece? and more importantly perhaps ask those same women in YOUR life how those behaviours make them feel and then LISTEN to their responses.”

@Marie – I’m sure it happens all over the world.

@Vanessa – It all goes down to consent. Did the man ask the woman if he could talk to her? If yes, and she said no, or ignored him, he’s violating her consent. Period. I know it’s not all men, but it boggles my mind how many men think they are entitled to talk to a woman just because. NO. Not just because. My right to not be harassed or bothered trumps their narcissistic need to be acknowledged just because.

Ugh. All freaking day! And how many of them have their own wives or girlfriends ?! Some of them in there, I’m sure. Just a lack of respect on all counts.
    Thank you for this vid.
