Farborn (Maxim Colonies 2) is available at Google and Smashwords. Remember, if you pre-ordered it on Kindle and got the 25-chapter version instead of the correct 28-chapter version, please delete it, go to your Kindle account through a browser, and resend it to your device. If you still only get the 25-chapter version, email me at tymberdalton AT gmail DOT com and send me a screenshot of your table of contents and I’ll send you the correct file version. If you did get the wrong version first, and then got the correct version from me, make sure to go back a few chapters, like to chapter 15 or so, and read from there so you don’t miss anything.

I really appreciate everyone’s patience with that. I’m so sorry that happened. It’s been…well, it’s just been a month. My pain levels and Hubby going out of town forced me to slow down my pace and try to recuperate. And we had to play massive catch-up on some home repairs and maintenance. Plus we celebrated our twenty-second wedding anniversary.

We spent it installing a replacement window shaker AC in our bedroom.

Yeah, we’re just wild and crazy kids, I tell you what.

From the “see I told you so” files…

Hubby’s had a spot on the end of his nose that kept opening up and bleeding.

I know, right?

For over SIX FUCKING months I hounded him, to the point of him getting pissy with me, to call a dermatologist.

He finally did, just to get me off his ass.

Oh, look at that, it’s basal cell skin cancer. And he had Mohs surgery last Monday to take the section off. Fortunately, only one slice. They also did a biopsy on his forehead, and are going to do another biopsy on another section on his nose once the three sutures come out of his nose.

Even the dermatologist, literally seconds after looking at it, said yep, we’re taking a biopsy because I’m pretty sure that’s basal cell. Then she told Hubby I could play the “see I told you so” card.

Now we’ve gone from I can’t get him to say the word dermatologist, to every twenty seconds he’s making me look at a spot on him and asking if he had that already, or if it looks like skin cancer. (I mean, I’ll take the win, but ya know… LOL)

*sigh*

We go to get the sutures out tomorrow, and then they’ll biopsy the other place on his nose. At least now he’s promised to listen to me when I fricking tell him to call the dang doctor.

In other news…

Yes, I’m working on the next Triple Trouble book, among other projects. I’m also working on getting Farborn and Poly formatted into print.

NOTE: If you pre-ordered this from Amazon, you might have received the wrong file version, and massive apologies for that! You should have 28 numbered chapters, NOT 25. If you got the wrong version, please delete it and re-download it. If you read the wrong version, get the correct one and please back up a few chapters because you missed a bunch.

Description

He’s not from around here…

Davies McKellan is a man without a true home. The cocky mining contractor navigator has spent his entire adult life roaming the stars and refusing to be tied down by anyone.

But that doesn’t come without cost. Like loneliness.

When Davies makes his first run to the planet Pfahrn, he meets Olarte, a Pfahrn who intrigues him in ways he never dreamed possible.

Except duplicity and deadly secrets are a killer combo that’ll make any man rethink his past. And if the eight-foot-tall green alien is Davies’ future, he might be down for that. He’s got priorities, though.

Like making sure they uncover the truth first, and don’t die in the process.
